Description and overview
Berlin is the capital city of Germany. It is the location of many great landmarks such as the Brandburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, and the Holocaust memorial. It has generally sunny weather and is located on the eastern side of Germany.
Transportation
In order to get to Berlin, you can either fly into one of the two airports or you can drive in on if you are located in Europe. Berlin is home to many different train systems for transportation, the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn. These systems are very effective at providing transportation through Berlin. In addition, there are plenty of Buses and Trams as additional public transport options.
Climate
Berlin is characterized by warm summers and very cold winters. Therefore, the reccomended time to visit is May-September. It is also home to periodic thunderstorms and snowfall. These are less prevelent during the summer months. Winters are generally 32°F and summers are generally 75°F.
